Linda Morin, age 70, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home.

Linda Ann Morin was born on June 4, 1951 in Belcourt, ND to Patrick M. and Rose (LaFountain) Vivier.  She was raised in Belcourt and attended school at Fladreau and Wahpeton Indian Schools.  Linda was united in marriage to John "Jams" Morin on July 11, 1969 in Rolla.  Together they raised five children, Billie, Jeff, Jon, Kelly, and Richard.  Linda was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother throughout the years.  She loved time spent with her family members, attending gatherings and Pow-Wow's together was her favorite thing to do.  Her family was so important to her and its where she wanted to be, surrounded by all of them.  Linda will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Linda is survived by her children, Billie (Mike) Slater of Rolla, Jeff (Trina) Morin of Belcourt, Jon (Diane) Morin of Rolla, Kelly (Louie) Barron of Belcourt, and Richard (Georgia) Morin of Belcourt; grandchildren, Aarin, Johnni, Devon, Lakeesha, Andrew, Breanna, Jon, Vaughn, Christian, Shayna, Cienna, Izzy, Autumn, Nelsyn, Richard Jr. "RJ", Rylee, Ross, and Coy; 30 great grandchildren; siblings, Linus (Brenda) Vivier of Las Vegas, NV, Gene (Theresa) Vivier of Wahpeton, Alfred (Cyrilla) Vivier of Grand Forks, Joyce (Darrell) Charette of Belcourt, Wanda Vivier of Belcourt, Bill (Alva) Vivier of Bismarck, and Renee Slater of Belcourt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick M. and Rose Vivier, husband, John "Jams" Morin, and grandchildren, Jeff Morin Jr., Baillie Morin, and Gabrielle Morin.

Casket Bearers are Justin Keplin, Richard "RJ" Morin Jr., Jon Morin Jr., Devon Morin, Josh Lilley, and Bill Vivier.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
