Leslie Jo Belgarde Chidester, age 60, of Rugby, ND passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Heart of America Medical Center, Rugby, ND.

Leslie was born on June 30, 1965 in Belcourt, ND to Betty L. Parisien and Edward G. Chidester.  She was a proud and loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who lit up every room she entered with her joyful spirit and fierce love for her family. Leslie lived for her boys, Sean, Zachery, and Brock, and her love and pride in them was evident to everyone who knew her.

Leslie had a vibrant personality and found joy in connecting with people.  One of her favorite hobbies was making TikTok videos, where people proudly called her the "Queen of TikTok."  She used her platform to spread laughter and love, and she never missed a chance to FaceTime those she cared about, especially her sister, Patty.  Her presence online and in person brought smiles to many.  Leslie was also a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, and some of her happiest moments were spent cheering on her team alongside her sons and grandchildren.  Watching football together became a cherished family tradition, filled with laughter, excitement and love – just like Leslie herself.  Her boys were her everything, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them.

She is survived by three beloved sons, who truly were her everything, Sean W. (Candace) Chidester of Dunseith, Zachery (Autumn) Chidester of Rugby, and Brock Chidester of Belcourt; grandchildren, Sean Jr., Brooklyn, Jamison, Xavier, Jorden, Talon, Greyson, Olivia, Maleah, Chandler, and Godchild, Harleigh Davis; sisters, Shelly R. Thomas of Penelton, OR and Patty Sue Allery of Belcourt; and was a very proud auntie to her nieces and nephews.

Leslie was preceded in death by her mother, Betty L. Parisien Chidester, father, Edward G. Chidester, niece Christa R. LaFountain, nephews, Lucas A. Thomas and Franklin Tetrault, and daughter-in-law, Cassandra Morin.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Turtle Mountain Worship Center, Belcourt, ND.
