Leonard Ramsfield Jr., age 86, of Rolette, ND passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Rolette Community Care Center, Rolette, ND.

Leonard T. Ramsfield Jr. was born on May 12, 1934 to Leonard Sr. and Tilda (Knudsvig) Ramsfield in Buxton, ND.  He passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the age of 86 at the Rolette Community Care Center with his family at his side.

Leonard married Annabelle Berg on April 2, 1960 in Sidney, MT.  Following their marriage, the couple lived in Minot for one year, then moved to the family farm southwest of Mylo, ND.  Leonard was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Brethren Church in Rolette.

Leonard ran a farming and dairy operation until 1979.  After retiring from farming, they moved to Rolette where he worked as a janitor at the Rolette Public School.  He also worked for Larry and Karen Beattie and Randy and Lynnette Fritel at the local grocery store.

Leonard is survived by his daughters, Pamela Jo (George) Duchscherer of Mandan, Betty Jean Ramsfield of Rolette, and Debra Ann (Rodney) Phelps of St. John; three grandchildren, David (Alicia) Berginski, Chad Berginski, and Dawn (Rollie Svhil) Berginski; two great grandsons, Cooper and Hunter; a great granddaughter, Olivia; all of his coffee club friends and neighbors; and special friend, Amy Nelson.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Alan, wife, Annabelle, son, James Alan, and his beloved dog, Mitzi.

Casket Bearers are Tommy Peterson, Daniel Armstrong, Randy Gingerich, Randy Benson, Andy Gilje, and Lonnie Anderson.  Music by Bob and Judy Martinson.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 10:30 AM in Ebenezer Lutheran Brethren Church, Rolette, ND with a Visitation One Hour prior to funeral services.  Pastor Gene Wilson and Pastor Rob Roise officiating.  Burial will follow services in the Mylo Cemetery, Mylo, ND.
