Leonard Boyer, age 68, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his home.

Leonard James "Jimmy" Boyer was born on October 1, 1952 in Belcourt, ND to Robert F. and Maria (Houle) Boyer.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well.  Leonard furthered his education at a trade school in Montana for carpentry.  He worked as a custodian for Skydancer Casino in Belcourt.  Leonard was a very outgoing and friendly person, always willing to visit with anyone.  He enjoyed family gatherings, riding horses, and was very family oriented.  He lived most of his life in the Belcourt area.  Leonard will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family members and many friends.

Leonard is survived by his siblings, Allen Boyer, Paul Boyer, June Boyer, and Tammy Boyer; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maria Boyer, brother, Darrell, and sister, Peggy.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM followed by Rosary at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.  Father Richard Fineo presiding.
