Leo L.  McCloud Jr., age 64, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Leo Leslie McCloud Jr. was born on September 6, 1960 in Belcourt, ND to Leo, Sr. and Beulah (Allard) McCloud. He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well, graduating from Belcourt High School in 1979.  Leo was united in marriage to Karen DeLong on December 24, 1980 in Rolla, ND.  He was the proud father of three children, Shanna, Jessica, and Eric.  Leo worked for Indian Health Services as an ambulance driver for many years. Leo enjoyed watching sports, especially basketball, baseball, and football. He was an avid follower of his grandkids sporting events. Leo enjoyed country cruising on side-by-side with his wife and in-laws, Loretta and Carty.  Leo also loved horses and going trail riding with his nephews, children, and friends. He enjoyed watching his grandson dance in pow-wows. Over the years, Leo loved collecting and trading tractors, trailers, and farm equipment, like his bobcats/skid steers. He loved time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and family.  Leo will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Leo Jr. is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karen McCloud of Belcourt; children, Shanna (Alan Brunelle) McCloud of Belcourt, Jessica (Clint) Parisien of St. John, and Eric (Blake) McCloud of Belcourt; 12 grandchildren, Seth (Chandler Poitra) Desjarlais, Jaylen (Chauneya Short) Delorme, Mikenzie (Thane Gladue) McCloud, Ally Jo McCloud, Daiton McCloud, Trent McCloud, Tucker McCloud, Kolt Brunelle, Brey Parisien, Sutter McCloud, Britt Parisien, and Bree Parisien; one great-grandchild on the way; and siblings, Debbie (Kent) Cote of Dunseith and Rick (Lisa) McCloud of Milnor; nieces and nephews.

Leo Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Sr. and Beulah (Allard) McCloud, brother, Randy McCloud, and father and mother-in-law, Ernest and Rose Ann DeLong.

Casket Bearers are Lee DeLong Sr., Dr. Shane Martin, Donald Plant, Seth Desjarlais, Jaylen Delorme, and Thane Gladue. Honorary Bearers are grandchildren, brother/sister-in-law's, nieces & nephews, family, and friends. Music by Jeannie Azure and family.

A visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 23, 2025 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND.  Burial will follow funeral services at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
