Layton LaFromboise, age 60, of Rolla, ND passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Quentin Burdick Memorial Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Layton Partick LaFromboise was born on February 15, 1964 in Belcourt, ND to Patrick Jr. and Phyllis (Patnaude) LaFromboise. He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well. Layton was the proud father of eight children Layna, Matthew, Patrina, Phyllis, Travis, Nathaniel, Layton Jr., and Rodger. He was an amazing construction contractor and could build anything. Layton loved to go fishing, working with his hands, and dancing. He also loved to cook, play quarters and dice, and most of all spending time with his family. Layton will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Layton is survived by his children, Layna (Jason) LaFromboise of St. John, Matthew LaFromboise of Fargo, Patrina (Scott) of Barnesville, MN, Travis (Katie) LaFromboise of Belcourt, Phyllis LaFromboise of Charleston, South Carolina, Nathaniel (Brianna) Houle of Moorhead, MN, and Rodger LaFromboise of Minot; twelve grandchildren; siblings, Cobert LaFromboise of Belcourt, Penny (Bill) LaFromboise of Charleston, South Carolina, Janice (Lloyd) Falcon of Rolla, Brenda LaFromboise of Charleston, South Carolina, and Lisa LaFrombois of Fargo; and many nieces and nephews.

Layton was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick Jr. and Phyllis LaFromboise, son, Layton LaFromboise Jr., siblings, Barbara Larson, Marla LaFromboise and Bugs LaFromboise.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Turtle Mountain Worship Center, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND in the spring.
