Laurie Lattergrass, age 46, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Laurie Shea Lattergrass was born on April 8, 1979 in Belcourt, ND to Mary (Lattergrass) Laducer. She was raised in Grand Forks, ND and graduated from the job corps program.  Laurie furthered her education at Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt obtaining an associate of applied science degree as well as graduating Summa Cum Laude.  She also obtained national healthcare association certifications in patient access, billing and coding, and medical administration. Laurie was the proud mother of three children, Mackenzie, Donald "DJ" and Payton.  She worked as an office assistant for the Turtle Mountain Tribe.  Laurie loved time spent with her family members, her children, grandchildren, mother, and companion, Jamieson.  She spent time working on designs with her cricket, watching scary movies, and going out and listening to music.  She was proud of her children and loved her grandchildren dearly. Laurie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Laurie is survived by her companion, Jamieson Wilkie of Belcourt; children, Mackenzie (David Morin Jr.) Malaterre of Belcourt, Donald "DJ" (Jacie) Malaterre of Belcourt, and Payton Lattergrass of Belcourt; five grandchildren, Riley Carrington, Jaxtyn Morin, Kion Morin, Kyrie Malaterre, and Haisley Malaterre; mother, Mary Laducer of Fargo; siblings, Marlin Frederick, Jonathan Lattergrass, Nicole Lattergrass, and Leah Laducer, all of Fargo; and nieces and nephews.

Laurie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ernest Lattergrass, grandmother, Virginia Elstrom, step-father, Curtis Dale Laducer, and aunt, Lisa Desjarlais.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Eagle Heart Log Cabin, Dunseith, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND. Andy Laverdure officiating.
