Laurence Bonn, age 89, of Rolla, ND passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at St. Kateri Hospital, Rolla, ND.

Laurence "Larry" Arthur Bonn was born on December 30, 1933 at their home in Pleasant Valley Township, ND to Edwin and Anna "Marguerite" (Boatz) Bonn.  He was raised on the family farm near Mylo, ND.  He attended Bibee School, St. Mary's in Devils Lake, and graduated from Bisbee High School. He furthered his education at Wahpeton State College for one year.  Larry was united in marriage to Beverly Parslow on June 21, 1958 in Bisbee.  Together they raised a son, Brent and a daughter, Ronnette.  Larry and Beverly lived in Rolla while he worked at First State Bank, before moving to their farm by Hansboro. Together they made TECs and Cursillos.  He enjoyed farming, raising cattle, and the hard work that went along with it.  Larry liked gardening, playing cards, playing pool, and watching the Twins.  He was a devout Catholic, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, helping out with many fish fry's and fall suppers. In 1979, Larry and Beverly moved to Rolla and finally purchased a home.  Together they did a lot of traveling and purchased a park model in California, very much enjoying the warm weather during the winter months.  Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, watching and following them through their sporting events and different interests.  He will be lovingly remembered and truly missed.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Ronnette Clouse of Rock Lake; son, Brent (Dianne) Bonn of Mylo; grandchildren, Dustin (Tracy) Bonn, Amanda (Josh) Vesterso, Ryder Clouse, Levi (Tiffany) Clouse, Brianne (Braden) Nelson, and Katie (Jon) Beehler; great grandchildren, Brayden Bonn, Sara Bonn, Jacob Bonn, Gavin Vesterso, Kellen Vesterso, Molly Vesterso, Camden Nelson, Jaeger Nelson, Evie Nelson, Jonah Beehler, Rory Beehler, Reese Disrud, Ellie Disrud, and Harper Disrud; siblings, Fern Brannan, John Bonn, and Julia Reed; and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Margie Bonn, wife, Beverly Bonn, grandson, Chase Clouse, son-in-law, Kelly Clouse, brother, Bernard Bonn, and sister, Gladys Bonn.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Rolla, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Bisbee, ND in the spring.  Father Thai Arul presiding.
