Kitty Brunelle, age 37, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at her home.

Kitty was born on May 26, 1986 in Belcourt, ND to Kelly Brunelle and Katherine Nadeau.  She grew up in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  Kitty was a wonderful cook who shared her talents across the country.  She was well traveled and had a keen sense of humor and witty personality.  Kitty loved cooking and baking, listening to all kinds of music, and singing, often coming up with songs of her own.  She was an animal lover of all kinds and had a special bond with her cat, Luna Mary Moon.  Kitty enjoyed visiting with her friends and talking about all things, as she was very smart and knowledgeable on various subjects.  She liked holidays, especially Halloween and playing with and visiting her favorite nieces, Kenzie and Kaitlyn. Kitty will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and close friends.

Kitty is survived by her parents, Kelly (Jerrilyn) Brunelle and Katherine (Bradley) Nadeau; brothers, Myles (Lacy) Brunelle, Colin Brunelle, Cody Brunelle, Kalyn Poitra, Koby Brunelle, Chance Brunelle, Nolen Demery, Damien Brunelle, and Michael "Chubby" Brunelle; sisters, Kiana (Boyd Belgarde) Brunelle, Alex (Animikig) Laverdure, Rozlyn Davis, Shanae Brunelle, Tiffany Brunelle, Mylena Malaterre, and Georgis Brunelle; many nieces and nephews, including Kenzie, Kaitlyn, Kolt, and Kota Brunelle; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and best friends, Lacey Laverdure, Desiree Grant, and Dani Brunelle.

Kitty was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pat and Clara Nadeau and Sarah and Martin Gourneau and great grandparents, Bill and Edna Brunelle and Lloyd and Edith Jay.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, ND.
