Kevin Davis, age 38, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Quentin Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility, Belcourt, ND surrounded by his loving family.

Kevin James Davis, Waabishki Mikinaak (White Turtle), was born on November 26, 1983 in Belcourt, ND to Tom Herman and Katherine (Davis) Henry.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well, graduating from Belcourt High School in 2002.  Kevin was united in marriage to Brandi Champagne on May 5, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Together they had two children, Kovie and Major.  Kevin is also the father of Jamison, Koko, and Stephani.  He loved all of his children and his family dearly.  Kevin worked as a firefighter for many years and recently for Wilkie Sheetmetal with H-Vac work.  He enjoyed playing darts, going to concerts, and riding motorcycle.  Kevin liked traveling and had planned many more trips with his wife, Brandi.  He was a wonderful cook, enjoying his time spent preparing food for others.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Brandi Davis of Belcourt; children Kovie Davis and Major Davis, both of Belcourt, step-daughter, Kaymbree Azure of Belcourt, Jamison Azure of Belcourt, Koko Parisien of Bismarck, and Stephani Parisien of Bismarck; mother, Katherine Henry of Belcourt; father, Tom Herman of Belcourt; grandmother, Dorothy Davis of Belcourt; siblings, Tom (Samantha) Davis of Fargo, Joseph Laverdure of Fargo, Tim Laverdure of Bismarck, Dustin Desjarlais, Brittany Desjarlais, both of Grand Forks, Kadence Malaterre of Belcourt, and Easton Herman of Belcourt; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Linus Davis, grandparents, Roy and Roselda Herman, and great grandparents, Eugene and Delima Vivier.

Urn Bearer is Tom Davis. Honorary Bearers are Joseph Laverdure, Tim Laverdure, Tim DeCoteau, Trey Zaste, Ross Zaste, Stacey LaRocque, Riley Laducer, Evan Parisien, Dylan Medrud, Clayton Williams, Belcourt Fire Department, and Biker Club members.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, September 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.  Father Tony Hession, SOLT presiding.
