Kelly Gibney, age 59, of Rolla, ND passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Presentation Medical Center, Rolla, ND.

Kelly John Gibney was born on June 23, 1961 in Devils Lake, ND to Robert and Jean (Schenkenberger) Gibney.  He spent his early childhood years in Cando, ND until his family moved to Rolla in 1966.  After attending school in Rolla, Kelly worked for numerous farmers in Rolette County throughout the years, at the Coast to Coast Store, Prairie Lanes (where he was an avid bowler), and also at the Viking Bar.  He loved playing baseball in his younger years, bowling, going fishing, and visiting with people in the community.  Kelly loved time spent with his family and his friends.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Kelly is survived by is siblings, Randy Gibney of Hankinson, Rick (Mandy) Gibney of Fargo, Toni Gibney of Fargo, and Erin (David) Klein of Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews.

Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dean Gibney when he was 8 years old, his step-dad, D.E. "Bud" Anderson, and his mother, Jean Gibney Anderson.

A Family Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
