Jordan Wallette (Weshki Maiingan), age 38, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at his home.

Jordan Matthew Wallette was born on March 12, 1984 in Belcourt, ND to David "Jay" and Wanda (Delorme) Wallette.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his homeschooling education in 2002.  Jordan furthered his education at Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt, obtaining degrees in addiction studies and photography.  He was united in marriage to Misty Lynn Gooden on September 10, 2011 at a private residence near Wallette Lake.  He was the father of four children, David, Julian, Asia, and Jay, and step-children, Mijah Jo, Rylen, and Tristian.  Jordan was a wonderful artist and painter, selling his creations nationwide.  He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, watching his favorite Star Wars movies, and was a WWII history buff.  Jordan had a wonderful sense of humor and will be remembered for his witty personality. Jordan had a soft spot for his cats, especially Estelle and Scarlet.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Jordan is survived by his wife, Misty Lynn Wallette of Belcourt; children, David Dionne of Montana, Julian Wallette of Grand Forks, Asia Wallette of Belcourt, and Jay Stone of Fargo; step-children, Mijah Jo Martin of Mandan, Rylen Gooden of Belcourt, and Tristian Ruiz of Belcourt; siblings, Jodie Wallette of St. John, Kimberly Laducer of Fargo, James Laducer of Jamestown, Terry LaFountaine of Bismarck and Matthew Lee Peltier of Bismarck; nieces, Jennifer Wallette, Kayla Allard, Macey Wallette, Veronica LaFountaine and Terrica LaFountaine; nephews, Dylan Peltier, James Laducer Jr., Derrick Laducer, Vince LaFountaine Sr. and Zach Wallette; and great niece, Jaye Wallette.

Jordan was preceded in death by his parents, David "Jay" and Wanda Wallette and niece, Brittany Wallette.

Funeral Services are Saturday, January 7th at 1 o'clock and Sunday, January 8th at 10 o'clock at Fiddlers Hall located in Belcourt, ND.
