Jonathon LaVallie, age 30, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 near Belcourt, ND

Jonathon Phillip LaVallie was born on September 17, 1992 to Robert Nadeau and Tammy Lavallie-Davis. He attended school at Turtle Mountain Community Schools. He was the proud father of four children Kolby, Jaylynn, Zenniah, and Eithan. Jonathon grew up around Belcourt. He worked in construction industry in the Grand Forks and Bismarck area.

Jonathon enjoyed being outdoors, riding horses, working with his hands. He loved keeping himself busy, reconnecting with his traditional backgrounds, and most of all spending time with his children. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Jonathon is survived by his father Robert Nadeau; children Kolby Mitchelle, Jaylynn Mitchelle, Zenniah LaVallie, and Eithan Willord; siblings Josette (Daniel) Ferguson, Robert Nadeau Jr., Joshua (Kari Ann) Nadeau, Shawn LaVallie, Jacob Olson, Shelbie Dunham; many aunts, uncles, cousins.

Jonathon was preceded in death by his mother Tammy LaVallie-Davis and grandparents MaryAnn Lavallie, Lynus LaVallie, Paul Nadeau, and Janice Nadeau.

A Rosary Service will begin at 9:00 AM on Monday, August 21, 2023 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 21, 2023 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND. Burial will take place at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery following the Mass. Please join the family for food and fellowship following the burial at Fiddler's Hall.
