Jennifer Lee Belgarde, age 44, of Belcourt ND passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Trinity Health Center in Minot ND with her family by her side.

Jennifer Lee Belgarde was born on October 20, 1979, in Rolla N.D. to Clifford (Mort) and Carol Belgarde. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well. Jennifer had a soft and gentle disposition and was a loving and respectful person. She was always willing to help family and friends. Jennifer was the proud mother of her son, Whitehorse Ducharme Jr., whom she enjoyed going with to zoos and museums in every place that she had resided. Jennifer loved being with her family and she was very proud of all her nieces and nephews. She loved making them all feel very special by ensuring that she spent time with each and every one of them. Jennifer will be lovingly remembered for having so much compassion and love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

Jennifer is survived by her son, Whitehorse Ducharme Jr.; mother, Carol Belgarde; brothers, Allen (Terri) Belgarde, Charles (Savanah) Belgarde, David (Jolene) Belgarde, all of Belcourt; sister, Barb (David) Reed of Devils Lake; nieces and nephews, Quwaden and Jason Belgarde, Adalin and Lilly Ann Belgarde, Jeremy Blue, all of Belcourt, Jessica, Kevin, and Crystal Reed of Grand Forks, and David K Reed of Devils Lake; great nieces, Sierra, Jada, Mia Rose and Ansleigh; great nephews, Christopher and Dakota, all of Grand Forks, and Layton of Devils Lake; aunts, Judy Skalicky and Mary Winnegge, both of Cando, and Carol Belgarde of Belcourt; uncles, Lloyd Winnegge and Richard Skalicky, both of Cando, and Nate Belgarde of Belcourt; cousins, Liza Wayman, Tonya Comer, Connie Belgarde, Carol, Sherry and Angela Crissler, Tasha Morin, Joy Viver, Raymond and Rocky Belgarde, Shannon and Travis Winnegge and Christine Reed.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Clifford (Mort) Belgarde, grandparents, Joseph and Mary Belgarde, Charles and Rose Winnegge, uncles, Raymond Belgarde and Junior Crissler, aunts, Barb Winnegge, Arlis Crissler, Joyce Vivier and Violet Iverson, cousins, Lenoir Belgarde, Michelle and Theresa DeCoteau and Brenda Crissler, sister-in-law, Raelena Belgarde.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
