Jeffery Rondeau, age 68, of Dunseith, ND passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Dunseith Community Nursing Home, Dunseith, ND.

Jeffery Joseph “Axe” Rondeau was born on January 22, 1958 in Poplar, MT to Andrew and Alta (Grumbo) Rondeau.

Jeffery is survived by his brother, Tom (Christi) Rondeau of Belcourt, and sisters, Mary (Jim) Mitchell and Annie (Pat) St. Germaine, both of Belcourt; special friend, Michelle Blue of Belcourt; and nieces and nephews.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Mark, Michael “Duke”, and Paul “Pacer” Rondeau, sister, Patty Rondeau, nephew, Joe Rondeau, and niece, Sally Rondeau.

Casket Bearers are Howard Wanna, Jay Wanna, Brandon St. Germaine, Randy “Ruff” Delorme, Willie Langan, and Weston Slater. Honorary Bearers are all family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 14, 2026 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass. Burial will take place at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND. Father Sam Medley presiding.
