Jeanette Belgarde, age 64, of St. John, ND passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Belcourt Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Jeanette Rosalie Belgarde was born on November 29, 1956 in Belcourt, ND to Steven and Leona (McCloud) Allard.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well, graduating from Belcourt Schools.  Jeanette was united in marriage to Dennis Belgarde on August 28, 1976 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Belcourt. Together they raised three children, Nicole, Amanda, and Joe.  Jeanette was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, and loving sister.  She loved her family deeply and enjoyed time spent with them, especially her grandchildren.  Jeanette enjoyed working on puzzles, color and word books, and playing cards and Yahtzee.  She liked to cook and bake, go shopping, and gazing at her solar lights and flowers.  Jeanette will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Jeanette is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dennis Belgarde of St. John; children, Nicole (Keith) Gourneau of Belcourt, Amanda (Justin) Overby of Kramer, and Joe (Judy) Belgarde of Belcourt; grandchildren, Hunter (Her Tiny), Colton (Willis), Wyatt (Yaya), and Bentley (Tiny Toon/Bentman) Gourneau, Johnathon (Jp) Overby, and Briar (Briar Ice Cream) Belgarde; step-grandchildren, Ashlynn Belgarde, Tristin and Duane King, Bruce Blahnik Jr. and Brandon Blahnik; siblings, Steve Allard of Bismarck, John Allard, Leon Allard, Hank Allard, Bruce (Charlene) Allard, Glen (Carol) Allard, all of Belcourt, Marlene (Galen) Gasnik of Grand Forks, Margie (Rich) Ellsworth of Fargo, and Sandy LaFromboise of Bemidji, MN; Godchild, Brandon Schroeder; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Leona Allard, father and mother-in-law, John and Gladys Belgarde, nephews, Patrick Belgarde, Aiden Azure, and Robert LaFromboise Jr., brother-in-law, Richard Belgarde, and brother-in-law, Robert LaFromboise.

Casket Bearers are Keith Gourneau, Justin Overby, Andrew Schroeder, Luke Belgarde, Glen Allard, and Bruce Allard.  Honorary Bearers are all grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow funeral services at St. Benedict's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.   Father Dave Brokke presiding.  A meal will follow burial services at the KC Hall, Belcourt, ND.
