Jason Bruce Sr., age 38, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 near Belcourt, ND due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Jason Gerard Bruce Sr. was born on August 3, 1982 in Rolla, ND to Richard Bruce and Myrna Malaterre.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education in Pierre, SD.  Jason was a mechanic and loved his work, working on cars.  He also worked in trucking for Laducer Sanitation in Belcourt.  He was the proud father of six children, Brandon, Blaze, Bryanna, Branson, Royce, and Jason Jr.  Jason enjoyed going to the casino and especially spending time with his children and family members.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Jason is survived by his fiancé, Danielle Nadeau of Belcourt; children, Brandon Azure, Blaze Bruce, Bryanna Azure, Branson Azure, Royce Bruce, and Jason Bruce Jr; siblings, Richard G. Bruce Jr., Kristin Bruce, Bradley Bruce Sr., and Angelique Vallie; and nieces and nephews.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Richard Bruce, brothers, Stacey Bruce and Joseph Bruce, and nephew, Joseph Bruce Jr.

A Memorial Mass will be Monday, July 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM.  Burial will follow the mass in the church cemetery.
