James Donald White | 1960 – 2022 | Obituary

James White, age 62, of Rolla, ND passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at his home.

James Donald White was born on April 23, 1960 in San Jose California to Donald Lee White and Elizabeth "Betty" (Pays) Montriel.  James completed high school with honors, continuing his education at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND where he obtained an Electrical Technician degree and worked as a Relay Technician.  James retired from Basin Electric in Beulah, ND.  On February 23, 1980, James was united in marriage to Carrie Laducer and had three children; Christy, Amy Jo, and Adam.  James loved to fish, watch the Green Bay Packers, baking, fixing things, casino games, and playing cards, especially pinochle.  James was a Jack of all trades.  He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.

James is survived by his children, Christy White, Amy Jo (Jessica Weisz) White, and Adam James White all of Rolla, ND; wife, Carrie Laducer; siblings, Amy (Hal) Norton of New Ipswich, NH, Debbie Schnackenberg and Diane White, both of Jamestown, ND, Raymond (Lisa) Montriel of Belcourt, ND; grandchildren, Hunter (Lyndsey) Stevenson of Bismarck, ND, Joseph White, Kenzi Jo Brunelle, Kaitlyn Brunelle, Adam James White Jr., Israel White, Uziah White, Urijah White, all of Belcourt, ND; great grandchild, Winter Stevenson of Bismarck, ND; Godchildren, Terrance (Kodi) Decoteau, Justin Dean Ray of Billings, OK; in-laws, Randy DeCoteau, Debbie (Joe) Vega, Kelly (Lisa) Laducer, Suzanne Laducer, Gary (Missy) Laducer, Jerilyn (Howard) Longie, all of Belcourt, ND, Alfred (Cheryl) Laducer Jr. of St. Michael, ND, and Jolene (Lonnie) Ray of Foss, OK; and many nieces and nephews.

James was proceeded in death by his parents, Donald Lee White and Elizabeth "Betty" (Pays) Montriel, sisters, Donna DeCoteau and Raelena Belgarde, Godchild, Kara Montriel, sisters-in-law, Allision Murphy and Linda Laducer, father and mother-in-law, Alfred and Anna Mae Laducer, and nephew, Joseph Vega.

Services will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Belcourt, ND, on Friday, October 28, 2022.  Visitation will begin at 8:00 am, followed by the Eulogy at 9:00 am and the Rosary at 10:00 am.  The Funeral Mass will begin shortly after the Rosary.  All friends and relatives are invited join the family in a meal following the services at the lower cafeteria of St. Ann's Church.
