James Parr Jr., age 59, of Rolla, ND passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at SMP-St. Kateri Hospital, Rolla, ND.

James William Parr Jr. was born on March 16, 1966 in Mauston, WI to Virginia (Lagasse) Parr and James A. Parr Sr.  He attended school in Mauston, Wisconsin, Minot, Jamestown, and graduated in 1984 from Bottineau High School.  James did various jobs including yardwork and snow jobs.  He enjoyed his two cats, Ricky and Oreo.  He liked to play all sorts of games, fill-in books, and go camping, fishing, and hunting. James also enjoyed talking to and hanging out with his family and friends.

James Jr. is survived by his mother, Virginia Parr of Rolla; brother, Robert (Donna) Parr of Iowa; sisters, Sherry (Bryan) Parr of Belcourt and Valerie Parr of Ohio; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

James Jr. was preceded in death by his father, James Parr Sr. and grandparents, Emil and Emma (Lassonde) Lagasse and Leslie and Vera (Prouty) Parr.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, ND. Burial will follow at Rolla City Cemetery, Rolla, ND.
