Iris Morin (EagleHorse), age 72, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Iris D. Morin was born on July 15, 1949 in Chamberlin, SD to Wilson and Mary (PSFlute) EagleHorse.  Se was raised in Lower Brule, SD.  Iris attended school in Chamberlin, Pierre, and Flandreau, SD.  She was united in marriage to Joseph P. Morin on May 9, 1992 and they lived in Lower Brule, SD for a while.  Together they made their home in Belcourt, ND where they had their marriage blessed at St. Benedict's Church by Father Jerry McCarthy.  Iris and Joseph had four sons, Bert, Allen, Sherman, and David, and two daughters, Arlene and Dorothy.  Iris also raised Autumn Azure.

Iris was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, and great great aunt.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to South Dakota to visit family and friends.  Iris also enjoyed spending her time with Mr. Oden.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Iris is survived by her children; sons, Bert Little Owl of Montana and David; daughters, Arlene of Perth and Dorothy (Roger) Hoffer of St. John; brother-in-law, David (Judy) Morin of Belcourt; six grandchildren, Derek (Mary), Sherman (Miranda), Crystal, Jade, Jessica (Troy), and Stacey (Todd); eleven great grandchildren, Blake, Ethan, Emily, Jonathan, Matthew, Jacob, Jonathan M., Haley, Keesha, Dakota, and Jayden; three great grandchildren, Octavia, Niyah, and Na'Tehya; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and sibling, Dennis EagleHorse.

Iris was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, her parents, sister, Judy, many brothers, sons,
Allen and Sherman, niece, Tammy Jean, great nephews, Steven, Ashton, and Pierce Jr, and sister-in-law, Diane EagleHorse.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  Funeral Mass will be Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND.  Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring.
