Herbert "Herb" Good, age 93, of Rolla, ND passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at his home.

Herbert Alfred "Herb" Good was born on October 8, 1928 to Alvin and Eva (Guedesse) Good.  Herbert married Elaine Hendrickson on March 5, 1950.  They made their home on the family farm, raising small grains and milking cows.  The cream checks were used for groceries and Herb's flying lessons.  In 1955, he bought his first airplane and started, with his brothers, Good Bros. Ariel Spraying.  He also would fly to Las Vegas and other places with Elaine and their friends.

Later in life, Herb could be found driving tractor in the spring and combining in the fall until the age of 92.  He enjoyed driving around the countryside, checking crops, and going to the casino.  Herb enjoyed visiting with all his friends and new people that he met.  A life well lived. Herb will be missed.

Herb and Elaine had seven children, Bob (Karen) Good of Dickinson, Randy (Carole) Good of Ranchester, WY, Susan Gailfus of Fargo, Sara (Jim) Cole of Long Prairie, MN, Bill Good of Bismarck, Ross (Bonnie) Good of Rolla, and Sandy (Tracy) Boe of Mylo; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Herb was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elaine, four brothers and a sister, daughter-in-law, Jane Good, son-in-law, Corky Gailfus, and grandson-in-law, Terry Rishling.

A Private Family Service and Burial will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022.  Herb's family would like to invite all family members and friends to the Legion Cabin in Rolla, ND at 3:30 PM on Friday, July 1, 2022.  Please join us to celebrate the life of Herb and to honor his memory together.
