Gloria Champagne, age 68, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Quentin Burdick Memorial Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Gloria Marie Champagne was born on February 15, 1956 in Belcourt, ND to Joseph and Margaret (LaVallie) Champagne.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  She furthered her education at TMCC in Belcourt obtaining an associate degree.  Gloria was the proud mother of five children, Wayne, Donald, Peter, Pauline, and Wendy.  She worked as a custodian at the Skydancer Casino in Belcourt. Gloria loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing games, Yahtzee and Solitaire, and watching the Young and the Restless. Gloria also enjoyed driving around, shopping, and visiting those around her.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Gloria is survived by her children, Wayne Champagne of Belcourt, Donald Peltier of Belcourt, Peter Peltier of Belcourt, and Pauline (Jason) Blue of Belcourt; 21 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; mother, Margaret Champagne of Belcourt; siblings, Alfred George Champagne of Dunseith, Daniel Champagne of Belcourt, and Sandra Champagne of Belcourt; and nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Champagne, daughter, Wendy Peltier, and brothers, David and Richard.

Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 13, 2024 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM and Rosary Service at 10:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Father Richard Fineo presiding.  A meal will follow funeral services at KC Hall, Belcourt, ND.
