Gladys Indvik, age 76, of St. John, ND passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Belcourt Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Gladys Rose Marie Indvik was born on November 5, 1945 in Rolla, ND to Carl and Evelyn (Langan) Indvik.  She was raised in St. John and completed her education there as well, graduating from St. John High School in 1964.  Gladys worked for nearly 50 years in social work for the State of North Dakota at Rolette County Social Services.  She loved the outdoors, gardening and tending to her flowers, yardwork, and was often seen riding around the area taking in the beautiful scenery.  She was a very gifted singer, often helping out with weddings and funerals, using her musical talents when needed.  Gladys will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Gladys is survived by her sisters, Linda Indvik of St. John and Joan Roman of Reno, Nevada; brother, Carl Alfred Indvik of Rolla; and many nieces and nephews.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Evelyn Indvik and her siblings, Vernon "Bunny" Indvik, Karen Patton, Lloyd Indvik and Sadie Martell.

Casket Bearers are Jorey Indvik, Patrick Indvik, Neil Indvik, Gary Langan, Anthony Horning, and Thomas Belgarde.  Eucharistic Gifts by Joan Roman and Dawn Bream.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Father Richard Fineo presiding.  Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, St. John, ND at a later date.
