George LaFrombois, age 60, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

George Edward LaFrombois was born on December 15, 1960 in Oakland, Calif. to Romeo Sr. and Gladys (Morin) LaFrombois.  He was raised in Dunseith and Belcourt.  George was united in marriage to Gale Nadeau and they were together for 43 years.  She preceded him in death.  George worked for the Turtle Mountain Tribe for many years.  He enjoyed working on cars, bird watching, going to the casino, watching westerns, and fishing.  George will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family members and many friends.

George is survived by his daughters, Mandy Nadeau of Belcourt and Felicia Nadeau of Dunseith; four grandchildren, Chayden Nadeau, Alijah DeCoteau, Alden DeCoteau Jr., and Richard Greatwalker; siblings, Carol (Mike) Blevins of Bathgate, Bill (Shelly Gallow) LaFrombois of Devils Lake, Gene (Patricia Bruce) LaFrombois of Belcourt and Louis (Ellen) LaFrombois of Belcourt; and many nieces and nephews.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Romeo Sr. and Gladys LaFrombois, wife, Gale Nadeau, brothers, Raymond and Romeo Jr. LaFrombois, and sister, Delia J. LaFrombois.

Casket Bearers are Gene and Justin Gunville, Shane Azure, Bryant Champagne, Josh Nadeau, JR Bruce.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
