Gary Linus
Peltier Jr.
Feb 14, 1984 — Sep 1, 2026
Belcourt, ND
Gary Linus Peltier Jr., age 42, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.
Gary Linus Peltier Jr. was born on February 14, 1984 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND to Gary “Porky” and Lorna Peltier. Gary, along with his twin brother Stanley, came into this world fighting, as they were under 6 pounds together when they were born. Gary passed away at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND on September 1, 2026.
Gary was the kind of person who could bring life and laughter wherever he went. He was outgoing, loved being around people, and always enjoyed a good laugh. His sense of humor and the sound of his laughter are things his family and friends will always carry with them.
Gary had a love for motorcycles and the freedom of the open road. He also enjoyed working on cars, getting his hands dirty, fixing things, and spending time doing something he truly loved. He loved music and loved to sing. Whether he was singing along to a favorite song or simply enjoying the moment, music was a part of who Gary was. But above everything else was his love for his family. The people he loved were an important part of his life, and the memories they shared with Gary will live on forever.
Gary will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his laughter, his love of motorcycles and cars, his singing, and most of all, the love he had for his family. Although his time with us was not long enough, the memories he gave us will last a lifetime. Whenever we hear a motorcycle coming down the road, see someone working underneath the hood of a car, hear a familiar song, or find ourselves laughing at an old memory, Gary will be there with us.
Ride free, Gary. Keep singing, keep smiling, and keep watching over the ones you love. You will always be loved, forever remembered, and deeply missed.
