Gary Peltier, age 64, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Gary James Peltier was born on June 13, 1961 in Belcourt, ND to Peter Paul and Marie (LaForte) Peltier. He was raised in Belcourt and completed his schooling in Wahpeton, ND. Gary enlisted in the Army National Guard and received an honorable discharge.  He was united in marriage to Alice Thomas and together they had two sons, Daniel and Justin. Gary enjoyed the outdoors, taking care of his lawn and golfing.  He was a joyful person, always singing and talking with himself.  He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed time spent with family members, especially his grandchildren.  He was a hard worker, a maintenance tech for Laducer and Associates for 17 years.  Gary will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Gary is survived by his wife, Alice Peltier of Belcourt; sons, Daniel (Shanley) Peltier of Bismarck and Justin Peltier of Belcourt; two grandchildren, Mia Peltier and Keely Reisenauer; siblings, Dean Peltier of Bismarck, Rita Young of Bismarck, Vita Newman of Bismarck, Norma Peltier of Bismarck, Donna Martin of Belcourt, Martin Peltier of Belcourt, Melvin Peltier of Belcourt, Sandra Helbling of Mandan, and Allen Peltier of Belcourt; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Clayton and Martin Peltier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
