Gary Jeanotte, age 72, of St. John, ND passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2020 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Gary Leo "Bud" Jeanotte was born on January 22, 1948 in Rolla, ND to Leo and Josephine (LaFountain) Jeanotte.  He was a barber for 52 years in Oak Cliff and Ducanville, TX until his retirement in 2015.  He was united in marriage to Margaret Rhoades on January 14, 1989 in Texas.  Gary was an avid gun collector.  He enjoyed attending gun shows and talking on the phone to his buddies while listening to country music.  He will be missed by all.

Gary is survived by his wife, Margaret of 32 years; three sons, Terry (Ellie) of Cedar Hill, TX, Mike of Belcourt, and Ryan (Anna) of Waxahachie, TX; three step-children, Lisa (Russell) of Trophy Club, TX, Sheri (Spencer) of Plano, TX, and Richard (Lynn) of Saginaw, TX; their dogs, Casper, Odie, and Abigail; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Pat (Delilah) Jeanotte of Fargo and Terry Jeanotte of Parshall; and sisters, Juanita (Norm) Landsem of Woodbury, MN, Karen Buckman of McKinney, TX, Linda (John) Cantu of Bedford, TX, and Cindy (Art) Dionne of Wahpeton.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Josephine (LaFountain) Jeanotte, sisters, Beverly Jeanotte, Majorie Jeanette Vondall, and Shirley Jeanotte St. Germaine, and brothers, Simon, Lloyd, Robert, and George Jeanotte.

A visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, ND.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, ND, visitation One Hour prior to services.  Burial will follow funeral services at Mill Lake Cemetery, St. John, ND.

**Masks will be required to be worn at all services inside the funeral home.  Please bring masks with you if you would like to attend services Monday and/or Tuesday at the funeral home.**
