Gale Vallie, age 57, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at her home.

Gale Ann Vallie was born on May 17, 1964 in Belcourt, ND to Daniel and Gladys (Poitra) Vallie.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well, graduating from Belcourt High School in 1982.  She furthered her education at United Tribes College obtaining a degree in Dietary Health.  Gale was the proud mother of two children, Misty and Randy.  She worked at a surveillance officer for Grand Treasure Casino in Trenton.  Gale lived in North Dakota most of her life.  She enjoyed cooking, going fishing, going to the casino and especially spending time with her grandchildren and family members.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Gale is survived by her children, Misty (John) Bercier of Belcourt and Randy Trottier of Trenton; four grandchildren, McKayla, Miriah, Macy, and Jonnilyn; mother, Gladys Vallie of Belcourt; siblings, Val Wendland and Danny Vallie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Vallie, and four brothers, Melvin, Billy, Dorsey, and Todd.

Casket Bearers are Justin Wendland, Michael Wendland, John Sims, Brandon Williams, Nathan Allery, Billy Poitra, Robin Paulson, and Eathan Vallie.  Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  Funeral Mass will be Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the church with Fr. Michael Slovak presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
