Gale Nadeau, age 60, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Gale Rose Nadeau was born on August 28, 1960 in North Dakota to John and Elda (Poitra) Nadeau.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  Gale furthered her education at college for two years.  She spent the last 43 years with the love of her life, George LaFrombois.  She worked for the Turtle Mountain Tribe for nearly 30 years as the juvenile public defender.  Gale enjoyed watching scary movies, bird watching with George, and going on road trips.  She also liked going to the casino, playing bingo, and going to the movie theatre to watch movies.  Gale will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Gale is survived by her husband, George LaFrombois of Belcourt; daughters, Mandy Nadeau and Felicia Nadeau, both of Belcourt; four grandchildren, Chayden Nadeau, Alijah DeCoteau, AJ DeCoteau, and Richard Greatwalker Jr.; siblings, Elaine Nadeau of Belcourt, Fern Nadeau of Devils Lake, Ronnie Nadeau of Belcourt, and Leroy "Chuck" Nadeau of Belcourt; and 34 nieces and nephews.

Gale was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elda Nadeau, and her siblings, Cyrilla Azure, Daniel "Zeke" Amyotte, John Amyotte, Richard Amyotte, Russell Nadeau, Gary Nadeau, Bruce Nadeau, Donna Gardner, Wayne Nadeau, and Dale Nadeau.

Casket Bearers are Shane Azure, Josh Nadeau, Gene Nadeau, Taylor Nadeau, Chad Nadeau, and Justin Gunville.

A Rosary Service will begin at 9:30 AM in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 AM.  Father Dave Brokke presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
