Franklin Tetrault, age 45, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at his home.

Franklin Troy Tetrault was born on November 6, 1977 in Rolette, ND to Joseph and Nora Louise (Davis) Tetrault.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education at Turtle Mountain Schools.  He furthered his education at NDSU in Fargo and TMCC in Belcourt for two years.  Franklin was united in marriage to Heather Chidester on September 15, 2012 at the Turtle Mountain Worship Center in Belcourt.  He was the proud father of three children, Keagan, Kennadie, and Kaelob.  Franklin worked at SkyDancer Casino as a security guard for 13 years before working at Kalix in Rolla as support staff.  He enjoyed listening to music and riding his side by side.  He was a very social person with a wonderful sense of humor, always visiting with his family and friends.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his children, nieces, and nephews.  On Sunday's he could be found at Ladots with friends watching football. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan!  Franklin will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Franklin is survived by his wife, Heather Tetrault of Belcourt; children, Keagan Tetrault of Rugby, Kennadie Tetrault of Belcourt, and Kaelob Tetrault of Belcourt; siblings, Alice Jo (Jesse) Martell of Bemidji, MN, Brady Grant of Belcourt, Willy Grant of Belcourt, Charles Blue of Belcourt, and Randy (Toni) Tetrault of Dunseith; and nieces and nephews.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Nora Louise Tetrault, brothers, Tyler Grant and Gary Tetrault, and sisters, Lisa Tetrault and Carla Allery-Tetrault.

Funeral Services will be Monday, February 27 ^th , 2023 at 11:00 AM at Turtle Mountain Worship Center, Belcourt, ND with Pastor Curtis Patnaude officiating.  A meal will follow funeral services at Ladots Hall, Belcourt, ND.  Burial will take place at St. Benedict's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND in the spring.
