Frances "Frankie" Morin, age 81, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at her home.

Frances Audrey "Frankie" Morin was born on December 16, 1941 in Rolla, ND to John B. and Marie Mae (Henry) Jeanotte.  She was raised in Rolla and completed her education at Rolla High School, graduating in 1958.  She furthered her education at Bottineau College for two years obtaining her Register Nurse degree.  Frankie was united in marriage to Donald "Chib" Morin on November 3, 1962 in Pierre, SD.  Together they raised two daughters, Dawn and Leslie.  Frankie worked at the clinic in Rolla for 32 years before retiring.  She enjoyed the outdoors camping with her family and was a gifted green thumb, raising beautiful flower gardens and thriving plants every year.  She enjoyed reading and traveling with her sister, Jeanette, often finding thrift stores and garage sales along their journeys.  Frankie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Frankie is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Brian) Charbonneau of Shakopee, MN and Leslie Parker of Belcourt; four grandchildren, Jenna (Aaron) Ssemujju, Samantha (Zachary) Tessman, Aimee (Travis) Charbonneau, and Alex (Ashley) Morin; six great grandchildren, Jyllian, Isabella "Bella", Avalon "Bob", Reese, Ariella "Ari", and Saylor "Baby"; siblings, Gaylene (Linus) Belgarde of Belcourt, Jeanette Grant of Bismarck, and Leigh Jeanotte of Grand Forks; and nieces and nephews.

Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Marie Mae Jeanotte, husband, Donald "Chib" Morin, great grandchildren, Trey and Brekken, sister, Patti Belgarde and Siddy Moore, and brothers, Skippy Jeanotte and Ronald Duane Jeanotte.

Casket Bearers are Ryan Grant, Tim Jeanotte, Dylan Grant, Wayne Kartes, Leigh Jeanotte, and Louie Dauphinais Jr. Music by Joe Parisien.  Rosary led by Gary and Sandy Thomas.  Eucharistic Gifts by Gaylene and Linus Belgarde.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will take place in the spring in her family plot in Belcourt, ND.  Father Michael Slovak presiding.
