Eugene Morin, age 85, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Belcourt Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Eugene Francis Morin was born on February 20, 1937 in Belcourt, ND to Bruno and Ida (Poitra) Morin.  He attended Greatwalker School as a young boy.  Eugene was the proud father of a son, Timothy Morin. He worked as a cook at San Haven State Hospital for many years.  Eugene enjoyed the outdoors, goose hunting, fishing and trapping.  He loved time spent with the family members and friends.  Eugene will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Eugene is survived by his companion, Roberta Nadeau of Dunseith; son Timothy Morin of Belcourt; step-sons, Jamie and Roy; grandchildren, Tim Jr., Francis, and Waylon Morin, and many other grandchildren.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Rhonda and Mark, two sisters, Delores Roussin and Gladys LaFrombois, and brother, George Morin.

A Memorial Mass was held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at10:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Dunseith, ND.  A burial followed at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Dunseith, ND.  Father Michael Slovak presiding.
