Ethel Duchesneau, age 86, of Rolla, ND passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Good Samaritan Society, Bottineau, ND.

Ethel Joy (Hudson) Duchesneau was born on July 5, 1937 in Fairview Township, ND to John and Mae Pearl (Timlick) Hudson.  She was raised in Rolla and attended country school, later moving to Rolla where she attended Rolla Public School. Ethel was united in marriage to Donald Duchesneau in 1955 and together they had a son, Gregory. Ethel worked at the William Langer Jewel Plant in Rolla for close to 50 years, Ben Franklin until its closure, and for the Rolla Day Care for nearly 20 years, where she truly loved and enjoyed the children. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends.

Ethel is survived by her grandchildren, Brooke (Dan) Madsen of North Charleston, SC and Adam Duchesneau of Yukon, OK; sister, Mildred (Harold) Amundson of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; brother, James (Judy) Hudson of Mustang, OK; and sister-in-law, Doreen Hudson of Guthrie, OK.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pearl Hudson, husband, Donald Duchesneau, son, Gregory Duchesneau, sisters, Margaret (Melvin) Stein and Vivian (Lyle) Armstrong, and brother, Raymond Hudson.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Presbyterian Church, Rolla, ND.  Dave Schnackenberg officiating.
