Ernest Vincent
Parisien
Oct 12, 1939 — Nov 22, 2021
Ernest "Vincent" Parisien
Ernest "Vincent" Parisien was born on October 12th, 1939, to John S. Parisien and Mary Rose (McGillis) Parisien in Belcourt, ND. He passed away on November 22nd, 2021, in Bismarck, ND at the age of 82.
He was raised in Belcourt, ND and was united in marriage to Beverly A. Belgarde on February 17th, 1964. Together they were blessed with five children: Baby Girl Parisien (deceased), Kimberly Parisien, Terry Lee Parisien (deceased), Robby Parisien Sr., and Tammy Parisien.
Vincent worked excavating/construction for several years. Prior to that he worked at the missile sites as a concrete/finisher. In later years, he worked side by side with his son doing excavating, construction, decorative mini-curbing and decorative concrete work. He was known as an excellent operator of backhoes, trackhoes, skid steers, and numerous other heavy equipment. He could have been in the Daytona 500 for how fast he drove his riding lawnmower. His passion was playing the fiddle and listening to fiddle music on KEYA. He had a vast collection of records, CDs, and fiddles. In fact, he had just purchased a new fiddle on August 31st. He was musically talented and could play the piano and guitar too. He loved to tell jokes and will be remembered for his many sayings. He wore his heart on his sleeve, always smelled so good, he had one of the greatest smiles in the world, would give you the shirt off his back, but would not let you touch his perfectly styled hair. He will be missed greatly by his numerous family and friends but will forever be in our hearts.
Vincent is survived by his wife Beverly, daughter Kimberly, son Robby (Tanya), and daughter Tammy (Donald); 12 grandchildren: Kyle (Melissa), Kyrell, Kayla (Devin), Ashly (Jake), Whitly (Adam), Kasondra (Cruz), Shey, Kayanna, Robby Jr., Jordan, Jr (Jordan), and MacKenzie; 12 great-grandchildren, Kobe, Ari'elle, A'zyis, Jaydynce, Jaydee, Jayis, Asher, Kaesyn, Kouper, Adam Jr., Braxtyn, Nathan, and three on the way; brothers James Parisien, Sr., C. "Joe" Parisien, and Raymond Parisien all of Belcourt, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Rose, his in-laws, Phillip and Agnes, brothers Tom, Stanley "Sonny", George, Charlie, John, and Leonard, and sisters, Helen, Lucy, Metha, Laura, Irene, Alice, Viola, and Dorothy, his son, Terry Lee Parisien, his daughter, Baby Girl Parisien, and his great-grandchildren, John Vincent Parisien and Baby McCloud.
