Elizabeth St. Claire, age 81, of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at her home.

Elizabeth Jane St. Claire was born on February 19, 1945 in Salinas, California to Anthony Sr. and Roseann (Baker) Charboneau.  She was united in marriage to Marvin St. Claire and he preceded her in death in 1990.  Elizabeth was the proud mother of five children, Duane, Stephanie, Lahomma, Penelope, and Amanda.  She was a wonderful mother and homemaker for many years.  Elizabeth enjoyed going to the casino and traveling.  Her door was always open for company, especially her family and friends.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Elizabeth is survived by her children Duane Charboneau of St. Michaels, Stephanie Charboneau of Bismarck, Lahomma Demery of Dunseith, Penelope St. Claire of Bismarck, and Amanda (Raymond) Charette of Devils Lake; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings, Junior Charboneau of Devils Lake, Richie (Patlene) Charboneau Sr. of Belcourt, Roger Charboneau of  Fort Totten, Lorna Charboneau of Belcourt, Bernadine Charboneau of Belcourt, and Cindy (Tim) Hawk of Belcourt; and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister, Mary Jo Greywater, and brothers, Steve Charboneau, Tim Charboneau, Gregory Charboneau, Sonny Charboneau, and Patrick Charboneau.

Casket Bearers are Jon Morin, Duane Charboneau III, Jonny Narlock, Travis Crissler, Ethan Charboneau, and Dallas Charboneau.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND with Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND.  Deacon Fatty Davis officiating.
