Elaine Gunville, age 63, of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the University of Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis, MN.

Elaine Mary Gunville was born on August 14, 1957 in Oakland, California to Gladys (DeCoteau) Enno.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well, graduating in 1975 from Belcourt Schools.  Elaine furthered her education at the University of North Dakota obtaining a BSN.  She was united in marriage to Richard Gunville on October 22, 1976 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Dunseith.  Together they had four children, Ryan, Cody, Skyler, and Ricanda.  Elaine worked for NE Human Services in Grand Forks, ND as a registered nurse for many years.  She enjoyed dancing and traveling, as she had an adventurous spirit.  Elaine loved time spent with her family members, especially her grandchildren, often baking with them and cherishing those times together.  She was all in for anything family oriented as she loved everyone dearly and the time she spent with them.  Elaine will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Elaine is survived by her children, Ryan (Heidi) Gunville, Cody (Carrie) Gunville, Skyler (Amber) Gunville, and Ricanda (Reginald) Chaske, all of Grand Forks; three grandchildren, Isabel, Carly, and Analeigh; mother, Gladys Enno; siblings, Sydney Enno Jr., Betty Jo Enno, and Sandra LaVallie; and many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded by her husband, Richard Gunville, grandchildren, Sky Chaske and Nevaeh Chaske, and brother, Richard Enno.

Casket Bearers are Cody Gunville, Ryan Gunville, Skyler Gunville, Reggie Chaske, Terry "Puggs" LaVallie, and David Gunville.  Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Dunseith, ND.  Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the church with Fr. David Brokke, SOLT presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Dunseith, ND.
