Edward Dionne, age 82, of St. John, ND passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Edward Isadore Dionne was born on May 21, 1940 to Simon and Josephine (Azure) Dionne in Belcourt, ND.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his schooling there as well.  Edward went on to welding school, working and traveling to many different states throughout his life.  He was united in marriage to Shelly Vance and together they had two children, Russel and Andrea. They later divorced.  On May 14, 1988 he married Joy Wilson, she preceded him in death.  After this marriage he became father to Donald and Linda. Edward enjoyed the outdoors, golfing in younger years, hunting, and fishing.  He also liked watching game shows and trivia on television.  Edward will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Edward is survived by his children, Russel Dionne of Bloomington, MN, Andrea Hase of Aberdeen, SD, Donald Tatcishi of Nevada, and Linda Palubeski of Oregon; grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley DeCoteau, Joyce Morin, and Art Dionne, all of Belcourt; and nieces and nephews.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joy, son, Bradley DeCoteau, and siblings, Irene LaFountain, Mabel Beck, Donald Dionne, Raymond Dionne, Leonard Dionne, and Larry Dionne.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
