Edgar Azure, age 51, of Dunseith, ND passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Dunseith Nursing Home, Dunseith, ND.

Edgar Lee "Pudgie" Azure was born on March 29, 1969 in Belcourt, ND to Edgar V. and Cyrilla (Amyotte) Azure.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education at Belcourt Schools.  Edgar was the proud father of two children, Brandon and Cailin.  He worked in carpentry in his younger years.  Edgar was a talented painter and artist.  He was a wonderful singer and played the guitar as he sang.  Edgar was a Dallas Cowboys fan.  In his younger years he was always busy ad very active.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Edgar is survived by his children, Brandon Azure of Cavalier and Cailin Azure of Great Falls, MT; siblings, Carie Azure of Belcourt and Shane Azure of Dunseith; and his nieces and nephews, Hannah Azure, Sarah Azure, Shenae Azure, Shane Azure Jr., Everett Azure, and Emmy Azure.

Edgar was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar V. and Cyrilla Azure, nephew, Jared Azure, and his grandparents, Moses and Mary Azure, Alex Amyotte, and John and Elda Nadeau.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 10 AM in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with a Rosary Service at 9:30 AM led by Jackie Delorme.  Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.  Father Michael Slovak presiding.
