Douglas Alan Morin, age 66, of Rolla, ND passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at his home.

Douglas Alan Morin was born on November 7, 1956 in Belcourt, ND to Raymond Sr. and Gladys (Brunelle) Morin.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well. Later resided in Rolla, Douglas enjoyed the outdoors, going for walks often.  Many people in the community knew him and in earlier years he made sure he had treats for the local kids in the community.  Douglas was a wonderful uncle and taught many of his nieces and nephews to ride bike.  He enjoyed traveling with Jerry to South Dakota and with Norman often going out to eat and to various destinations.  Douglas loved being outdoors working on mowers, bikes, and many other things that came his way.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family members and many throughout his community, an icon to many.

Douglas is survived by his siblings, Diane (Al) Mathiason of Rolla, Claudia Morin of Belcourt, Raymond Jr. "Radar" (Suzie) Morin of Rolla, Bernice Morin of Rolla, Patricia Morin of Dickinson, Blake Morin Sr. of Belcourt, and Lora Morin of MN; and many nieces and nephews.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Gladys Morin, sisters, Brenda Morin and Shirley Morin, and brothers, Kenneth Morin, Jeff Morin, and an infant brother Morin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Father Michael Slovak presiding. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
