Dorothy "So Sweet" Davis, age 69, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Quentin Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility, Belcourt, ND.

Dorothy Rose "So Sweet" Davis was born on June 1, 1952 in Belcourt, ND to Joseph and Mary (Champagne) LaFountain.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  Dorothy was united in marriage to Clarence "Chugger" Louis Davis on November 18, 1979.  Together they raised three children, Clarence, Shelly, and Kelly.  Dorothy worked at San Haven in Dunseith, for Uniband in Belcourt, and most recently for Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Clarence (Gloria) Davis, Shelly (Mitchell) Keplin, and Kelly (Kevin) Keplin, all of Belcourt; 12 grandchildren, Mandee Keplin, Skylar (Taylor) Keplin, Naytaya Keplin, Julia Davis, Clarence Chugger Davis, Kolton Keplin, Gia Davis, Kwade Keplin, Jackson Davis, Kobi Keplin, Mareea Keplin, and Kooper Keplin; 5 great grandchildren, Ashtyn, Aubree, Sterling, Jagger, and Giana; siblings, Florene LaFountain, Benedict "Chiman" LaFountain, Sharon "Chigirl" LaFountain, Ramona "Chicken" LaFountain; in laws: Shirley LaFountain of Dunseith, Linus (Brenda) Davis, Viner (Linda) Davis, Barbara Davis, Terry (Karen) Davis, Nancy (Johnny) Azure, Raymond (Debbie) Vondal, Richard Vondal, all of Belcourt, and Karen Haroldson of Fargo; and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary LaFountain, husband, Clarence "Chugger" Davis, and siblings, George LaFountain, Theresa Tetrault, Johnny LaFountain, Laura Piro, Rita LaFountain, James LaFountain, Marlene Tetrault, Virginia LaFountain, Gerald LaFountain, and Alfred "Chidad" LaFountain, in-law parents, Virginia and Viner Sr. Davis, and sister-in-law, Maryann Charette.

Casket Bearers are Clarence Davis, Mitchell Keplin, Kevin Keplin, Skylar Keplin, Clarence Chugger Davis, Jackson Davis, Kolton Keplin, and Kooper Keplin.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary/Eulogy Service at 10:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND at a later date.
