Donna Keplin - Jeanotte, age 66, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Quentin Burdick Memorial Hospital.

Donna Mae Keplin- Jeanotte was born to Dave and Martha (McGillis) Keplin on February 12, 1957, and was raised in Belcourt, ND.  She completed her education at the Turtle Mountain Community Schools. Donna continued her education at Turtle Mountain Community College and North Dakota State University. Donna worked for the BIA as a Facility Manager Assistant and Probate Officer for many years and retired in 2017.

Donna was united in marriage to Darryl "Skip" Jeanotte on July 13, 2002.  Donna and Skip made their home in Belcourt for 21 years.

Donna enjoyed going to the casino, camping, and family get-togethers. Kersten, Brock and Kaylee were her pride and joy. Her most prized possessions were her grandchildren.

She was not only a wife and a mother, she was a protective sister, a wonderful caring daughter, a perfect playful aunt and a loyal friend to many. Donna was a fearless piece of the Keplin family who kept tabs on everyone, she was always there for her kids, her family and her friends.

There was never a time when she didn't show up! She had close bonds with everyone she cared for and loved. Donna's deep passion for showing her love for her family was always prominent, but her stubbornness was also noticeable when it came to watching over and protecting her loved ones.

Donna is survived by her children, Brock Keplin of Grand Forks, and Kaylee (Annie) Kirchofner of Minot, and Stepson Tim (Candy) Jeanotte of Wahpeton, grandchildren, Zaiden, Zophia, Kallyn, Kenzleigh, Eden, Reigny, Russell, Justine and Ezren; siblings, Mike (Sharon) Keplin, Pat (Peggy) Keplin, Sharon (Ed DeCoteau) Brunelle, and Jamie (Crystal) Keplin all of Belcourt. Dean (Janie) Keplin of Rolla, Ryan (Jennifer) Keplin of Rolette; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by husband Darryl "Skip" Jeanotte, her son Kersten Keplin, and parents Dave and Martha Keplin and grandchild Bentley Keplin. Donna will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
