Donald Beston, age 60, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his home.

Donald Louis Beston was born on May 17, 1961 in Havre, Montana to Charles Donald Beston and Callie R. (Morris) Abbott.  He was raised in Montana and California.  Donald enlisted in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge.  He moved to Belcourt nearly nine years ago, where he had resided since that time.  Donald had an unwavering love for all animals.  He was always willing to help out animals, being an animal activist, and could often be seen walking is beloved dogs.  Donald will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Ariel Beston of Oregon; mother, Callie Abbott of McIntosh, New Mexico; siblings, Charles Beston of Jamestown, Cathy Beston of Oregon, Greg Sweet of McIntosh, New Mexico, and Julie Sweet of Florida; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Charles Donald Beston and sister, Cheryl Beston.
