Dolly Lee, age 57, of Rolla, ND passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Belcourt Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Dolly May Lee was born on May 10, 1963 in Great Falls, MT to James and Minerva (Roy) St. Claire.  She graduated from Rolla High School in 1981 and went on to graduate from Northland Community and Technical College with a degree in medical transcription.  Instead of pursuing this profession, she went to work at Noodles by Leonard's in Cando for approximately 15 years and it was there that she met the love of her life, Oluf "Ole" Lee.  They were married on August 8, 1989 and spent 25 happy years together until Ole's passing in February of 2015.  She also worked as a cashier at Alco, which became Shopko for 10+ years.  Because Dolly was so outgoing and loved being around people, she thoroughly enjoyed her job and it gave her an outlet for expressing herself and her friendliness to all her customers and co-workers.

Some of Dolly's favorite things to do was to watch TV and various types of movies, paly board and dice games, read romance novels, and work and visit with people.  She also enjoyed shopping and buying small gifts for her family even though she really couldn't afford it; reflecting how generous of a soul she had.  Dolly also had fun going to rummage sales to look for unique treasures to keep or share with others.  She loved time spent with her family especially her nieces and nephews.  Dolly was never blessed with having children, so she treated her nieces and nephews like her own.  She loved family gatherings, and especially looked forward to Christmas and family birthdays; we could always count on her to capture all the activities by being the family photographer.

Dolly is survived by her mother, Minerva (Roy) Getzlaff; siblings, Melody (Al Lovell) St. Claire, Tim St. Claire, Tina St. Claire, Becky (Tom) Chapman, and Chris St. Claire; nieces and nephews, Rhea (Fred) DeCoteau, Kyle (Megan) Chapman, Matt (Jackie) Chapman, Adrienne St. Claire, and Jesse St. Claire; and great nieces and nephews, Riel Allery, Lorayah Allery, Maria Laducer, Amelia Laducer, Ella Laducer, and Freddy DeCoteau; as well as many aunties, uncles, and cousins.

Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Ole John Lee, father James St. Claire, and her brothers, Barry and Larado St. Claire.

Casket Bearers are Chris St. Claire, Jesse St. Claire, Fred DeCoteau, Al Lovell, Riel Allery, and Greg Charette.  Eulogy given by Melody St. Claire.  Rosary led by Tina St. Claire.  Readings by Father Richard Fineo.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with a Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass. Father Richard Fineo presiding. Burial will take place at the Rolette City Cemetery, Rolette, ND at a later date.
