Obituary

Delores Logue, age 79, of Belcourt, ND passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Quentin Burdick Memorial Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Delores Marie Logue was born on July 25, 1943 in Belcourt, ND to Peter and Elise (Zaste) Turcotte.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education at Belcourt High School. She furthered her education at North Dakota State University and Bottineau College obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Management.  She was united in marriage to William Monette and together they had two children, Michelle and Monte.  They later divorced.  She worked at the housing authority in Belcourt and through the years lived in New Mexico, Colorado, Florida, and Arizona while working for housing authority.  She later married Grady Logue and he preceded her in death.  Delores worked for Grand Treasure Casino in Trenton, retiring in 2021.  She enjoyed the casino and was a very lucky lady at the casino.  Delores enjoyed reading, traveling, had a green thumb, and liked visiting with her family and friends.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Delores is survived by her children Michelle (Dwayne) Martin of Belcourt and Monte (Lori) Monette of Grand Forks; 22 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Elise Turcotte, husbands, William Monette and Grady Logue, brothers, Joe Turcotte and Pat Turcotte, and sisters, Audrey Manson and Georgeline Longie.

Music played by Richard Turcotte and Joe Parisien.  Readers are Dustin Monette and Adam Monette.  Eucharistic gifts by Elicia Martin and Casey Monette.  Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND. Father Tony Hession presiding.
