Delaine Belgarde, age 46, of St. John, ND passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Quentin Burdick Memorial Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Delaine Judith "Judy" Belgarde was born on December 7, 1977 in Devils Lake, ND to Duane King and Irene Mary (Bottineau) Blount.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  She furthered her education at Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt. Delaine was united in marriage to Joseph Belgarde on August 6, 2016 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Dunseith.  She was the proud mother to six children, Duane, Tristan, Bruce Jr., Brandon, granddaughter Ashlynn, and Briar.  Delaine was wonderful at streaming and gaming, enjoyed going fishing, and liked watching WWE wrestling.  She was loved in her home as a wife, mother, and grandmother, taking care of everyone.  Delaine will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Delaine is survived by her husband, Joseph Belgarde of St. John; children, Duane King of Bismarck, Tristan King of Minot, Bruce Jr. (Kendra) Blahnik of Rock Lake, Brandon Blahnik of Bottineau, Briar Belgarde of Kansas, and adopted granddaughter, Ashlynn Belgarde-Short of St. John; grandchildren, Lilly Stevenson and one on the way, Skyla Blahnik; siblings, Lisa (Raymond) Montrail of Belcourt, Bruce Bercier Jr. of Belcourt, Patrick Bercier of Dunseith, and Jennifer Bercier of Spokane, Washington; and nieces and nephews.

Delaine was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Joshua Grant-King, and sister, Elizabeth Blount.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND in the spring.  A meal will follow the funeral mass at the church, all are welcome to attend to honor the life of Delaine.
