David Schaefer, age 65, of Rolla, ND passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at SMP St. Kateri Hospital, Rolla, ND.

David George Schaefer was born on January 24, 1957 in Huron, SD to Edward and Eleanor (Frankboner) Schaefer.  He lived in Grafton, ND for many years before moving to Rolla, ND where he became part of the Kalix family for the past seven years.  David enjoyed listening to music and was a collector of baseball hats.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

David is survived by his siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Eleanor Schaefer.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, ND with Pastor Nicholas Rohde officiating.  Burial will take place in the Rolla City Cemetery, Rolla, ND in the spring.
