David Morin, age 60, of Belcourt, ND passed away on November 9, 2021 at Quentin Burdick Health Care Facility in Belcourt, ND.  David was born on June 11, 1961 to the late Stephen J. Morin Sr. and Frances "Fuff" Morin in Belcourt.

David attended school in Belcourt and later moved to Moorhead where he made his home and raised his family.  He was considered to be the Jack of all Trades including mechanic work, working roads for many years, even when he moved back to Belcourt.  He continued his work on the roads until he decided to work closer to home.  He began work for the Turtle Mountain Tribe under the EPA program until last year when he retired from his position due to illness.

David was a prankster and was always teasing his family and friends.  He always had a smile on his face and when he wasn't pulling pranks and being crazy, he was working on stuff around the house, always keeping himself busy.  He loved to work on cars, having many different cars.  If it was a truck, he would rack its pipes.  He would make sure he was heard.  He had many cars as well as a brown Crown Victoria and of course, it had pipes.  There was something about having loud pipes, in so many words you could hear when Dave was coming down the road.  Dave enjoyed spending time with Bryder and Bryelle who would follow Papa around and help him out with different chores.

He enjoyed hanging around family and friends.  He loved the outdoors, fishing, and especially hunting.  Dave will be missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

David is survived by long time companion, Lavonne Baker of Belcourt; mother, Frances "Fuff" Morin of Belcourt; children, Monique and Ryan Delonais of Fargo, Erica (Waylon) Peach, Carl (Mandy St. Claire) Baker, Macey Baker, all of Belcourt; siblings, Cindy Morin, Stephanie (Dale), Brian, Stephen Jr. "Chick" (Linda), Gail (Chris) Thomas, and Brent Leoir, all of Belcourt, and Jeff Morin of Fargo; in-laws, Yvette (Edward) Falcon of Eagle River, AK, LaMoine LaFloe, Nikki (Francis Morin Jr.), all of Belcourt; grandchildren, Anthony, Ethan, David, Sophia, RJ, all of Moorhead, Keagan, Justin, Emmit, Elayah, Bryder, Bryelle, Amilli, Amari, Amoni, Amanuel, Tayvia, and JJ.

David was preceded in death by his son, David Delonais, father, Stephen Morin Sr., brothers, Joseph and Anthony Morin, nephew, Chad Allard, in-laws, Charles and Rita Lafloe, Chuck LaFloe Jr., Robert LaFloe, and Emberly Peach.

Honorary Bearers are Brian Morin, Brent Lenoir, Stephen "Chick" Morin Jr., Chris Thomas, Dale Henry, Waylon Peach, Carl Baker Jr., Edward Falcon Sr., Francis "Manny" Morin Jr., Randy Hamley, Gene Laducer, and Keith Azure.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with Fr. Tony Hession presiding.  Rosary Services led by Alvin and Ella McLeod.  Music by Patrick "Terry" Baker.  Eucharistic Gifts by Gail and Christ Thomas.  Urn Bearer is Drew Delorme.  Eulogy by Leslie Baker.  Reader is Yvette Falcon.  Burial will follow at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND.  A meal will follow at Elmer David Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND.
