Daniel Thomas, age 39, of Lincoln, ND passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his home.

Daniel Joseph Thomas was born on July 11, 1984 in Belcourt, ND to Aaron "Tucky" and Dorothy (Bohl) Thomas.  He was raised in Rolla and completed his education at Rolla High School, graduating in 2002.  Daniel was the proud father of a son, Kash.  He worked as an auto mechanic for various companies in recent years.  Daniel enjoyed his mechanic work, often working on small engines, lawn mowers, snow blowers, snowmobiles, as well as larger engines.  He was a laid-back, kind and caring man who would help anyone out.  He liked visiting and joking with people,and was known for his one-liners.  He loved time spent with his son watching him play hockey and ride dirt bikes.  He was an avid Chicago Bears fan, always willing to cheer on his favorite team.  Daniel will be lovingly remembered by his family members and many friends.

Daniel is survived by his son, Kash Thomas of Lincoln; brother, Josh Thomas of Texas; cousins he was especially close to, and thought of as brothers, Ajay Thomas, Jared Thomas, and Richard Thomas, Jr.; aunts and uncles, Ron (Sharon) Thomas of Kewanee, IL, Angela "Susie" Porter of Jacksonville, FL, Lorraine Courville of St. Ignatius, MT, Marma (John) Pepion of Belcourt, Frances "Cookie" (Les) Zitzow of Stacy, MN, Kimberly Thomas of Belcourt, Tami Thomas of Rolette, Ed Bohl of Bottineau, Joe Bohl of Rugby, Adam Bohl of Knox, David Bohl of Wolford, Elizabeth Volk of Minot, Theresa Wolf of Bismarck, Magdelina Wichman of Milwaukee, WI, and Barbara Wolf of Minot; and many cousins.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jamie Thomas, and grandparents, Joe and Rita Thomas and Nicholas and Catherine Bohl, uncle, Maurus Bohl, aunties, Katherine Jundt and Rose Vetsch, uncles, Joseph 'Boy-Blue', Adrian, Michael, Pete, Paul, Richard, and Robert Thomas, and auntie, Vicky Hinds.

A visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Friday, July 26, 2024 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, Rugby, ND with a Rosary Service at 10:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 26, 2024 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, Rugby, ND.  Daniel will be buried with his mother at Little Flower Cemetery, Rugby, ND following funeral services. A luncheon will be held following burial back at the church to share memories of Daniel, all are welcome to attend.
