Dale J. Wallette was born on March 21, 1959, in Belcourt, North Dakota to Robert R. and Doris J. (Falcon) Wallette. He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well, graduating from the Turtle Mountain Community High School in 1978. He furthered his education at the Turtle Mountain Community College obtaining an Automotive Technology two-year Diploma in later years.
Dale met the love of his life Yvette (Richard) in the summer of 1977, they both agreed it was Love at First Sight! Dale and Yvette were united in Marriage on August 14, 1981, at St. Anns Catholic Church. Together they raised four daughters, Jerilynn, Jessica, Lisa and Laurie.
Dale worked at the Turtle Mountain Manufacturing Plant for approximately 24 years before receiving a lay off. He then furthered his education at TMCC and obtained an Automotive Technology degree, eventually working with that program first as an assistant automotive instructor, then took on the position full time for a couple of years.
Dale loved to do Automotive work, he loved everything about vehicles, especially pickup trucks, and he always had many different vehicles around his yard. He also loved dogs and had many throughout the years. He liked fishing and just doing things and tinkering around his yard. He loved to visit and have his daughters and grandchildren around as well as family and friends. He loved to play cards and dice and just visiting with everyone. He liked to watch westerns and game shows on television. And he had a sense of humor, he liked to tease his grandchildren and friends, if he teased you about anything it meant he liked you! Dale had health problems in his later years, losing much of his eyesight and became a dialysis patient about four years ago due to diabetes. Dale will be lovingly missed and remembered by his family members, cousins, and friends.
