Obituary

Crystal Parisien, age 40, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Belcourt Hospital, Belcourt, ND.


Crystal Joy Parisien was born on December 2, 1978 in Belcourt, ND to John and Nancy (Zeretzke) Parisien. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well, graduating in 1997. Crystal furthered her education at the University of Mary obtaining a degree in Business Administration in 2010. She was the proud mother of two children, Ashton and Ava. Crystal worked in the billing department at the Belcourt Hospital. She loved spending time with her children and her family. She enjoyed going shopping, going to rummage sales, and to thrift stores. Crystal also liked going to concerts with family and friends. She was always up for anything and enjoyed spur of the moment road trips. Crystal will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.


Crystal is survived by her daughter, Ava LaRocque of Belcourt; son, Ashton Azure of Belcourt; mother, Nancy Parisien of Belcourt; and siblings, Jana (Colin) Decoteau, Sheri (Bryan) Armentrout, Lloyd (Carly) Parisien, Dennis Parisien, Colin Parisien, Alex Parisien, Tashina Vivier, Kassie Parisien, Doug Parisien, and John Parisien.


Crystal was preceded in death by her father, John W. Parisien, grandparents, Edwin and Frances Zeretzke, John and Rose Parisien, uncle, Brian Zeretzke, and sister-in-law, Brenda Parisien.


Urn Bearers are Preston Parisien and Colin DeCoteau. Eucharistic Gifts by Stacy Parisien and Jaylyn DeCoteau. Readers are Tanja Azure and Denise Grant. Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.


A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 9:00 AM. Father Jim Mulligan, SOLT presiding. Burial will follow services in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
